Richard Vigar and Michelle Stocks will be proactive in leading the Newark office, Richard is a founder member of the firm since it commenced over 30 years ago; he is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner and also a member of the Society of Expert Witnesses.  Michelle has been with Wright Vigar for almost 8 years, training and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor with the firm. Michelle’s client portfolio is focussed around business start-ups and businesses with turnover of up to £1million. Michelle, through training and experience, has been able to offer practical advice in relation to VAT and has helped to develop Wright Vigar’s new VAT service.      

 

With five Directors and over 70 employees Wright Vigar can provide specialisation as needed, including financial expertise such as assistance with budgeting and cash flow. They also look at the business as a whole, considering succession planning, and ensuring that businesses and individuals do not pay more tax than they should.    Wright Vigar has a broad range of clients but with a particular emphasis on the farming and construction industries together with the professions; they also have very strong charities, forensic and agricultural teams able to offer support and advice.   Wright Vigar will also share their extensive knowledge through a series of seminars; the first seminar covers Land and Property VAT issues and will be of particular interest to property developers or anyone involved in lettings or construction.
