7th December - BWL Christmas Luncheon
The BWL Christmas luncheon was held on 7th December 2011 at Branston Hall hotel. At the drinks reception, attendees browsed members stands before a three course meal.
After lunch, there was an enjoyable and inspiring presentation by Susan Richie from You Time Coaching. £250 was raised from the raffle (this was then doubled by HSBC to £500!) and this was donated to Relay for Life Lincoln. Relay for Life are a fantastic charity raising money for Cancer Research UK mainly via an overnight relay event.

July 2011 - BWL Summer Luncheon 
A fantastic summer luncheon at the Petwood Hotel where members were able to showcase their businesses with a stand.
A 3 course meal was followed by an inspirational talk by Rachel Elnaugh, ex-Dragon, business mentor and author.

April 2011 - Spa Evening
A few BWL members left early one Tuesday evening in April and met at the Aqua Sana Spa at Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest for a few hours of luxury, followed by a snack in the cafe. It was relaxing, but fun with lots of time for a natter and a bit of a break from work!
15th March 2011 - BWL Annual General Meeting
The annual AGM of Business Womens Link took place on 15th March 2011.
The AGM included an introduction to new Chair, Sam Ford of Original Touch garden seeds, stalls by new members, Partylite and Jamie at Home, and finished with port tasting!
February 2011 - Lincoln College Presentation A presentation was given by Lincoln College followed by a treat in the salon.
Then a group of ladies stayed for a meal in Sessions at 5.45pm.

Internet marketing expert Susan Hallam shared tips for online sales success with BWL members. The Nottingham-based guru was guest speaker at Business BWL’s Christmas Lunch.

13th July 2010 - Ladies Summer Luncheon
The annual BWL Ladies Summer event took place on the 13th July at Petwood Hotel and was a great opportunity to raise funds for Cancer Research. After a Pimms reception, our ladies enjoyed a lovely meal before listening to our guest speaker Rachel Green.

Members of Business Women’s Link, who visited the University’s Brayford Campus, were given a whistlestop tour of Sparkhouse Studios, got the inside story on the adjoining Enterprise@Lincoln building and heard about the Access Innovation programme.

16th March 2010 - AGM & Dealing with Difficult People
The AGM took place on 16th March 2010 at Langleys offices. Following on from this we had a very informative presentation by Beth Tyrell from Tyrell Consulting. Beth gave us some useful hints and tips to help us deal with difficult people, both in the workplace and in our personal lives.

19th January 2010 - Monthly Networking Event 
Our first monthly event of 2010 was held on the 19th January at the offices of Langleys Solicitors.
We were delighted to welcome a very brave Mark Rind from Lincoln Academy of Dramatic Arts who came to talk to us about communication in the workplace.

21st October 2009 - Monthly Networking Event 
The October meeting of Business Women’s Link was hosted by Lincoln College. The event took place on 21st October and we met at The Sessions Restaurant at Lincoln College for tea and delicious cake and for an introduction to the College and the way it helps local people and employers.

On the 16th of September the Business Women’s Link monthly meeting was hosted by Lincolnshire Co-operative. Ladies who attended were treated to Fairtrade and local choice produce including wine, juices, cake, crisps and chocolate

1st July 2009 - Ladies Summer Luncheon
The Petwood Hotel in glorious sunshine provided the perfect venue for the annual BWL Ladies Summer event which took place on the 1st July. The members and guests who attended were treated to stunning sunshine and a Pimms reception on the terrace.
