Business Womens Link is looking forward to welcoming more new members after showcasing its benefits at a top-flight conference.

Focus Group members, chair Jo Richardson, Claire Matthews and Glynis Fox manned a BWL stand at the Womens Enterprise Day at the Belton Woods Hotel, near Grantham.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week event, which was attended by more than 100 females, provided the ideal opportunity to spread the word about our network and everything it offers.

The day featured six inspirational speakers, nine expert workshops, the ‘living library’ area – where the BWL stand was situated, alongside other business exhibitors – and the Artisans’ Avenue, which provided delegates with the chance to do a spot of Christmas shopping!

BWL chair Jo Richardson said: ‘This event featured a high value programme, which was crammed with quality talks and workshops. The sessions were informative and enjoyable on a personal level, but the conference also provided the perfect forum for us to introduce more women to BWL.

We were able to show people our new website, tell them about events and invite them to book for our Christmas lunch at the Branston Hall Hotel, which is taking place on December 8”

Well done to Rebecca Avison from Duncan & Toplis, who won one years membership and a huge bottle of prosecco!
