BWL Vice-Chair Jayne Wilson and colleagues from The Priory Federation of Academies Trust in Lincoln are on a mission to raise £2,000 for charity – and the pennies have already started rolling in!

“It is a charity close to our hearts and one we are honoured to support.  If anyone would like to support us, we would be so grateful for any contributions.  Our Just Giving page can be found at:

Jayne, Hannah Eves, Verity Crampton, Amy Pickering, Becky Garner, Harriet Hendleman, Tina Greenhalgh and Kathryn Creaser – together also known as “theredhotchillisteppers” –  are gearing-up to take part in the Macmillan  “Mighty Hike” marathon walk on 24 July, 2021.

“None of us will forget 2020.  For most of us it was a year which turned out to be the hardest we’ve ever encountered both professionally and personally,” said Jayne.

“Over the past year, we’ve been humbled by some incredible fundraising efforts, including the work of our colleagues from within the Trust. Inspired by what we’ve seen, we decided we wanted to do something as a team.”

Jayne and seven colleagues have set themselves the challenge of conquering 26 miles of the picturesque Peak District, in their determination to boost funds being raised for an amazing cause which has helped, and continues to help, so many people and their families.
